A little about me
Aurora
Vance
I'm Aurora, a photographer based in New York with a fascination for light, architecture, landscapes, and the fleeting details that make a place feel alive.
When I'm not behind the camera, you'll probably find me wandering unfamiliar streets, looking for new perspectives, or waiting for the light to change.
Keep looking closer.

More than
photographs.

Details matter
I don't photograph moments.
I photograph how they feel.
Photography has always been my way of slowing down and paying attention. I'm drawn to the quiet details — the way light falls across a building, the atmosphere before a storm, or a fleeting moment that might otherwise go unnoticed.
My work moves between landscapes, architecture, travel, and the everyday. Rather than chasing perfection, I look for something honest — an atmosphere, a feeling, a sense of place.
Observe
Finding beauty in what already exists.
Wait
Letting light and moments unfold naturally.
Capture
Preserving what made the moment meaningful.

03 — The Way I See
Finding beauty
in between.
My photographs are guided by curiosity rather than a fixed formula. I look for the relationship between light, space, movement, and the quiet details that make a place feel alive.

Observations
Look closer.
Light
Light is never just illumination. It shapes mood, reveals texture, and gives an ordinary scene its character.
Stillness
The quiet frames often say the most. I look for moments where everything feels briefly still.
Perspective
A small change in position can completely change a story. I search for perspectives that feel unexpected yet natural.
A personal philosophy
"The best photographs are the ones that make you pause."
